Sancho Garcés Reserva 2012

Variety: 100% Tempranillo.

Aging: Aged for 36 months in American oak barrels and subsequent refinement in the bottle.

Taste: A classic Rioja of crystal clear appearance and cherry red color, with a slight garnet hue. On the nose it displays the typical bouquet of controlled Crianza ageing in American oak barrels, where smoky notes complement balsamic and spicy aromas. On the palate the wine is soft but shows character. It is an elegant wine thanks to the skillful domination of the tannins during the ageing in small oak barrels, resulting in a silky mouthfeel.

Goes well with: Traditional meals, as well as with sauces, spicy dishes, stews, roasts, game and grilled meat.

Consumption temperature: 17ºth – 19°th.
