• This range takes its name from Sancho Garcés, King of the Kingdom of Nájera (which incorporated part of the Rioja Alta and Rioja Media in the 10th century), in tribute to this outward-looking King, with these wines symbolising tradition and adaptation to modern times.
  • This is also a recognition of his efforts to promote the Camino de Santiago, or Way of St. James, upon which huge numbers of travellers descend every year, also passing through La Rioja where they enjoy the hospitality of its people and its good wine.
  • The wines reflect the distinct character of our region and are produced using traditional techniques, which makes them instantly recognisable as a Rioja from the first sip.
