Sunday January 21st was the closing day of major Madrid-based tourist fair FiTur2018. A hit in terms of attendees (bus-loads pouring into the venue) and economic impact, worth 260 million Euros, FiTur consolidated its position as one of the most important tourist fairs in Europe.
Bodegas Patrocinio showcased its well-known ranges Lágrimas de María and ZINIO at the Rioja stand in FiTur2018. Renowned wine journalists and celebrities attended the wine tasting, scheduled for 3.00 pm, Wednesday 17. Impressed with all of our wines, journalists and influencers immediately took to Lágrimas de María that made it big and took a leading role at the tasting.
Lágrimas de María was created in 2008 with a view to reaching out and strengthening bonds with our consumers and thus drawing them closer to our cellar through the figure of our winemaker María Martínez, who provides us with a personal range with a modern style in which aromas and fruity notes prevail.
Lágrimas de María wines have won international competitions and have been rated by Gilbert Gaillard, James Suckling, renowned wine blogger Julien Miquel, founder of Social Vignerons, and American influencers such as Texas Wineaux, the Texas-based wine reviewer.
